Retail Installation

What is retail installation?

As we live in a modern world, technology plays a significant role in every industry and how they pedate a business, allowing them to increase efficiencies, save money, and give better products and services to their customers. Many sectors now use AI and virtual augmented reality to provide customers with a better experience. Some retail industries have adopted technology that allows their customers digitally to view and try on products before making a purchase. With the help of this technology, customers can save their time and money by seeing how a product looks visually. Similarly, retailers also save time and money by reducing unnecessary manpower and space in the store. One of that is the complete transformation of retail experiences into an exceptional digital experience, which shoots up customer engagement and gives an outstanding customer experience at the store.

This invention can be used in any industry, nevertheless, it is mostly centered on the retail industry. This is especially useful for stores with limited space who are struggling to keep up with demand. This is appropriate for both indoor and outdoor stores. This Interactive Retail Installation Project is a part of using the new technology.Motion graphics, web coding, UX design, and JavaScript will all be employed to obtain the greatest results.

Interactive Catalogue Station

This is the station where customers could touch, take a look and inspect the products since the products are kept for display. So, it’s basically interaction with the real, physical products. This station will also have a screen attached in front of the customer which will instruct on how to use this station and even inform the customer with products that are in discount and which are the best-selling products.

Furthermore, the specialty of this station is that once a product from the table is taken for inspection, the screen will display all the available apparels from the different collections. Even the prices will be stated. If the customer wants to know more about the specific product they’ve picked up, they could get the information by pressing the button gently on the top of each product which is fixed on top of the table. The idea is to be as much interactive with the customer and to be informative.

Rotating Product Station

This is the station which will mesmerize the customer by its amazing technology. The products will be displayed as an image in a screen that is mounted in front of the customer which they could interact with, virtually. For example, if the customer wants to inspect/interact with the pair of shoes, it will be displayed in a 360 view along with the specifications of the product.

Furthermore, until interaction the screen will display a screen saver with the product name as well as simple instructions on how to use the station. Also, the interaction with the product in a 360 view is aided with a device called as the leap motion tracker which is the technology behind the gesture interaction.

Once a customer has ended the interaction with the product, after some time, the screen will display the screensaver again until it’s interacted with another customer.

Touch Screen Ordering App

This is the station where the customers actually decide which product they need to purchase. It requires a touch screen display. the user will be given options to select multiple varieties of the item like color, size, etc.

After seeing the motion graphics and 360 views from the large screens, customers will try to decide to take a try at the product. at this time this particular system should have multi options like combining the products, comparing the products, adding to cart, etc. The customer should spend more time here. as the customer spends more time the chance of sales will increase.
This system will be having a receipt printer and debit/credit machines connected and the user can make the payment after purchasing.
